1. 👥 Professional Responsibility

  • Always uphold honesty, respect, and integrity in all interactions.

  • Treat every mentee with dignity regardless of age, background, gender, race, or status.

  • Ensure all advice is constructive, ethical, and not influenced by personal gain.

 


2. 📚 Commitment to Growth

  • Commit to helping mentees set and achieve SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals.

  • Stay updated with relevant industry or subject knowledge.

  • Encourage mentees to take ownership of their learning and growth.


3. 🕰️ Reliability and Availability

  • Maintain an updated calendar of availability on the platform.

  • Show up on time for all scheduled sessions or reschedule with advance notice.

  • Complete session summaries or goal reviews within 48 hours.


4. 🛡️ Privacy and Confidentiality

  • Respect all personal information shared by mentees.

  • Never share mentee details or conversations outside the mentorship space unless required by law or safety concerns.

  • Use platform features like private notes responsibly.


5. 🎯 Goal-Based Mentorship

  • Encourage mentees to create or choose a goal before booking mentorship.

  • Tie each session to progress made on that goal.

  • Use InzpireU’s goal tracker and feedback loops to guide ongoing development.

 

6. 🧭 Empathy and Inclusion

  • Use inclusive language.

  • Be culturally sensitive and avoid assumptions.

  • Celebrate small wins to build confidence and connection.

 

7. 🧾 Feedback and Continuous Improvement

  • Provide mentees with clear, honest, and encouraging feedback.

  • Welcome feedback from mentees on your mentorship style.

  • Participate in quarterly mentor forums or training when offered.

 

8. 🔁 Platform Engagement

  • Create at least 1 mentorship service offering on your profile.

  • Set your availability to enable mentees to reach out.

  • Respond to mentee messages within 48 hours.


🏅 Earning the Accountability Badge

The Accountability Badge is awarded to mentors who consistently demonstrate commitment, communication, and contribution within the InzpireU platform.

✅ Requirements:

Criteria Description
🧠 SMART Goal Alignment Mentor sessions must link to active goals. 3+ tracked goals required.
📆 Reliable Scheduling Maintain active availability with at least 3 booked sessions in a 60-day period.
📩 Responsiveness 95%+ response rate to mentee messages within 48 hrs.
📊 Session Reporting Submit 90% of session notes or feedback forms on time.
🗣️ Community Engagement Attend 1 mentor circle, training, or webinar per quarter.
 
🎉 Benefits of the Accountability Badge
  • Priority listing on the platform

  • Eligible for mentor spotlight and case studies

  • Access to early platform features and invitations

  • Bonus referrals or impact rewards


⚠️ Violations & Review

Mentors found violating the Code of Conduct will receive:

  • 🟡 First Notice: A written reminder with support offered.

  • 🟠 Second Notice: Temporary suspension of profile visibility.

  • 🔴 Final Action: Removal from platform and mentorship role.

  • Be respectful and open-minded in all interactions with mentors and fellow users.

  • Arrive prepared for each session and communicate honestly.

  • Value your mentor’s time and experience.


2. 🎯 Goal-Driven Mindset

  • Set at least one SMART goal when joining a mentorship program.

  • Track your progress regularly using the InzpireU platform.

  • Take ownership of your growth journey—this is your path.


3. 📅 Commitment and Reliability

  • Show up on time for sessions or reschedule in advance.

  • Respect calendar commitments—mentorship is a two-way responsibility.

  • Complete any prep work or follow-up action items discussed with your mentor.


4. 📩 Active Communication

  • Use the platform messaging tools to keep your mentor informed.

  • Ask questions openly and follow up after sessions.

  • Respond within 48 hours to messages or nudges.


5. 🛡️ Privacy and Trust

  • Maintain confidentiality and protect your own personal information.

  • Respect the privacy of your mentor and their guidance.

  • Report any issues or concerns to the program admin.


6. ✍️ Reflect and Apply

  • Submit feedback after each session to reflect on your learning.

  • Apply lessons from your mentor into your goals or real-life situations.

  • Share progress updates—mentors want to see you win!


🏅 Earning the Protégé Accountability Badge

The Accountability Badge recognizes protégés who are proactive, consistent, and fully engaged in their learning journey.

✅ Badge Criteria:

🎯 SMART Goal Active At least 1 active goal created and tracked
📆 Session Attendance Attend minimum 3 sessions over 60 days
📩 Timely Response Respond to mentor within 48 hours, 90% of the time
📝 Feedback Participation Submit session feedback for at least 2 sessions
🔄 Goal Progress Update Log at least 1 goal progress update every 30 days

🎉 Badge Perks

  • Recognition on the platform as a committed learner

  • Priority access to mentors and limited cohort-based programs

  • Certificate of accountability (downloadable PDF)

  • Eligible for nomination to student ambassador roles


⚠️ Accountability Expectations

  • 🟡 Reminder: If you miss 2+ sessions without notice, you may be asked to reschedule via admin approval.

  • 🟠 Warning: Inactivity beyond 60 days without updates may hide your profile from mentor visibility.

  • 🔴 Ineligibility: Repeated non-responsiveness may result in badge removal or program review.
